PEPUS RR-125 Sardines in Tomato Sauce

Pepus sardines are fished during the autumn months. They are steamed and packed in vegetable oil or tomato sauce. The sardines come from the North-East Atlantic and the Mediterranean (FAO27 and 37). They are steamed and carefully inserted by hand into the tin. Then sunflower oil is added, which gives them a mild flavour. Ideal for your Vermouth moment and to accompany your favourite recipes!
