You simply must try this Spanish "Frantoio" oil, whose olive trees arrived on the Iberian Peninsula many years ago from the Tuscany region of Italy. Divinely delicious with salads and, of course, as befits an Italian, with pizza, toasted bread, or pasta.
"Frantoio" is rich in natural antioxidants, such as vitamin E and polyphenols. It has a high oleic acid content, making it an excellent ally for cardiovascular health.
Flavor notes: A mild, balanced oil with a distinct character and wonderful aromatic intensity. On the palate, it reveals an aftertaste of herbs and green fruits, with aromas of apples, bananas, and pears. The most prominent aroma of the oil is green almonds, accompanied by a subtle scent of freshly cut grass.
